The London Genomics Network (LGN) is being officially launched at the London NGS Symposium organised at the Crick on 24th May 2022.
Born from the vision of the heads and deputies of local genomics facilities, the LGN started in 2019 as a forum of discussion where its members shared their experience and challenges in the running of their laboratories. It soon became apparent that there was an opportunity to create a platform to increase interactions between their teams and other genomics researchers based in London so the founders decided to create a formal entity that they named London Genomics Network. Although its members have been meeting regularly for the past 3 years, the LGN is only officially launched today with the release of this website and a Twitter account.
